Our organization, established in April 2024, was founded to oversee the development of Gadeokdo New Airport, envisoned as a global gateway connecting Korea’s southern region to the world.
We are committed to enhancing the quality and safety of the airport’s construction by integrating BIM (building information modeling)* smart technology across all phases of the airport’s design, construction, and operation. Additionally, we are committed to ensuring seamless connectivity by linking the new airport to the city’s road, railway, port, and advanced mobility systems, thereby allowing anyone to access and use it conveniently. * Building Information Modeling: A technology that visualizes the lifecycle information of a facility through a digital-based 3D model.In particular, Gadeokdo New Aiport will be developed as a 24/7 sea & air multimodal logistics hub, bolstering Korea’s logistics competitiveness and establishing an innovative base for balanced national development.
Through the successful completion of this monumental project, we aim to lay a solid foundation for Gadeokdo New Airport to emerge as a state-of-the-art, low-carbon, eco-friendly global gateway.
